My challenge to write fifty-two short stories in fifty-two weeks ended on the 8th October. How quickly the year flew by!
I finished with a total of thirty-one stories. No excuses; just the best I could do in that time.
Of course, I’ve now thirty one more stories than I started with, and I count that as a win.
Although my official challenge is now over, the learning and the writing will go on in the spirit of that old saying:
no plan survives first contact with the enemy.
The boxer, Mike Tyson, said it even better:
Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
And now that the philosophizing is out of the way, this is my revised plan:
Complete the remaining twenty-one stories at my own pace and post short updates at this page.
Indie publish a short story collection. See here for more info.
Onward!
